Overview
This document describes how to set up common patrol mode on Uniview PTZ camera connected to Spot system remotely via browser. The general workflow will look like:
Configure presets on PTZ camera to be used on patrol route using Spot’s live view and PTZ controls
Proxy into camera and log into OUI using camera credentials
Configure common patrol route using presets
Configure patrol schedule
Preset Configuration
Select camera to be set up and click View Live Camera to start live streaming
Click PTZ to move the camera to desired view
Click View Presets and Create New Preset to save the saved view in a preset
Repeat above for all desired presets to be used in the patrol
Patrol Mode Configuration
Select camera and in the sidebar click Configure NVR
In the pop-up window click Native RSA Camera Config then select Remote and click Navigate Remotely
In the new window click Expand page in new tab
The new tab should bring you to the login page of the camera. Log in with the camera credentials: Username: admin / Password: Spot2330!
Once logged in click on the bottom video stream (the PTZ stream) and make sure it is highlighted in blue. The PTZ controls will take some time to populate in the side bar. Note that livestreaming this way will not work due to limitations in proxying.
