Troubleshooting the Spot App ( Mobile)

The mobile app is primarily designed for viewing live camera feeds and searching for recorded video (VOD). You can also save clips to a case, download them, or create a shareable link.

The Mobile App is not compatible with Onboard. If you are onboarding new cameras, please use the desktop dashboard login.

If you are trying to make camera config changes, please use a desktop login as well.

If live feeds, historical VOD, or cases are not loading in the app, try the following troubleshooting steps:

  • Check if the IVR or cameras are offline by ensuring the devices are online.

  • Verify whether the footage loads on the desktop or laptop dashboard.

    • If it does not work check further if there is an issue with IVR or cameras

  • If it works on the dashboard but not the app, ensure the app is updated to the latest version. If not, update it and try again.

  • Make sure your phone is running the latest software updates.

  • Try logging out and back into the app to see if the issue is resolved.

If the problem persists, open a support ticket with the following details:

  • Spot app version

  • Device type (Apple/Android) and model (e.g., Apple iPhone 14 Pro Max)
