Step 4: Register and Connect the Spot AI IVR
Step 4: Register and Connect the Spot AI IVR
Updated over a week ago

Now that you have a location created, it's time to register your Spot AI IVR.

In the Location Set Up screen, the second tab is 'Appliances.' Ensure this tab is active, then enter the serial number of your Spot AI IVR. Your serial number is both on the box your IVR was shipped in, and on a white sticker with black writing near the power button of your IVR. It will start with 'sn.' Once the serial number is entered, click 'Register Appliance', then 'Continue.'

Note: If you have more than one IVR to register for your location, click 'Add Appliance' after clicking 'Register Appliance' and repeat until all IVRs are added prior to clicking 'Continue.'

If you began the process of creating your location through the Devices tab rather than the splash page, click '+ Appliance' within the location information pane. From here, the same steps to add and register appliances apply as above.

If you haven't already connected your Spot AI IVR to your network, please revisit Step 2: Install and Connect IVR and Cameras. If everything is working as intended, your IVR should show a green check for both Registered and Connected. This can take a few minutes. If it has been more than five minutes and you do not see a green check next to Connected, please see Troubleshooting An Offline Spot AI IVR Appliance.

Now that your IVR is connected and registered, it's time to move on to connecting the Cameras and/or DVR/NVRs.
