Move cameras between IVRs
Move cameras between IVRs
Updated over 3 weeks ago

If there are two IVRs in the network, cameras will automatically associate with an IVR based on the load, ensuring an even distribution.

Customers cannot control or assign specific cameras to a particular IVR.

If you need to move cameras, please open a support ticket and provide detailed information, including the location name, camera name, IP address, MAC address, and the destination IVR serial number. The support team can handle the transfer on the backend.

Deleting and re-authenticating the camera will cause it to reconnect to the previous IVR, so please avoid doing so

Once the cameras are deleted, you will lose all recorded footage

If you are installing a replacement the IVR, bring the new IVR online first. Instead of deleting and re-adding the cameras, please open a support ticket with detailed information, including the location name, old IVR serial number, and new IVR serial number.

If you are replacing the IVR due to a hardware issue, there is a chance that the old footage will be lost, except for clips saved as cases.

Customers do NOT have the capability to move cameras between the IVRs
